Buyers who had booked independent floors in South City-II, developed by Unitech, are likely to get their homes delivered in four months, after years of waiting. Following a complaint filed with the Haryana government’s Allottees Grievance Redressal Forum (AGRF), the developer has agreed to complete the remaining work within four months and hand over possession to buyers. The development is a big relief to scores of people who have made most of the payment, but are yet to get possession. Average cost of the independent floors, at the time of booking in 2010, was above Rs 1 crore, and most buyers have already made 80-90% of the payment.
