The decks have been cleared for connecting the Northern Peripheral Road (NPR) with NH-8.
Moving a step closer to resolving one of the most vexed issues — relocation of oustees — in the completion of NPR, also known as Dwarka expressway, Huda on Wednesday conducted the second draw of lots for allotting alternative plots to oustees of Kherki Daula. The draw cleared the way for connectivity of NPR with NH-8.
The construction of the Basai railway overbridge (ROB) is at an advanced stage and now clearing of the site for connectivity of NPR with NH-8 has paved the way for making a large portion of Dwarka expressway operational at the earliest. It came as a big relief to a number of homebuyers, who have bought flats in more than 115 residential projects along NPR.
“We completed the draw for 79 oustees from Kherki Daula to allot them alternative plots in Sector 37-C. Soon oustees will be issued allotment letters and construction of roads in this portion will start in a month,” Huda administrator Yashpal Yadav said, adding that construction of the road at Kherki Daula would ensure connectivity of NPR with NH-8.
With the completion of the Basai ROB, which is expected to be ready by the year-end, a large portion of Dwarka expressway from NH-8 to New Palam Vihar will be made operational at earliest.
